11 Graduate from Bo Paramedical Campus, Kowama

11 students at the Bo Paramedical School have ended their last final examination (OSPE) for the certificate of community health officer. The principal of the school, Dr. Alpha S. Kebbie revealed that, prior to the OSPE and writing papers, the 11 students were engaged in two weeks’ intensive practical work at the Bo government hospital. And, a week’s theoretical work having 20 stations covering all aspects of the medical practitioner. He further said the study components range from community health, community studies 1 and 2 Health Centre Management, Medicine, Child Health, Maternal health, Environmental, surgery and communicable diseases. Dr. Alpha S. Kebbie also intimated that the training programmed for CHO's included three-year course and six months house Manship practice before any student is the certificate which mint the Job. Adding that a senior medical practitioner Dr. Eddie T. Musa who serve as the external examiner assisted by five senior staff of the school who have already pursue further studies in Ghana. He appeals to the government and well-meaning NGO's in upgrading the studies of this medical institution that senior doctors nationwide to ease the health work. And said the paramedical school is in dare need of resources, manpower, and materials required to undertake practical works which could enhance the effectiveness of their works.

A normal one-year ceremony is usually observed by Late Hon. P.C. Brima Victor Sidi Kebbie III in the Malen Chiefdom Pujehun District.
Traditional Thanksgiving started from the origin of inheritors Land in Sahn Malen Chiefdom and is a cultural event that celebrates the history and identity of the people of Sahn Malen. It is held every year on the first of January, and it involves various activities such as dancing, singing, storytelling, and sharing food. The event honors the ancestors who first settled in the land and established the chiefdom, and it also promotes peace and unity among the current residents.

Palm Malen Resource Center (PMRC) is a registered non-governmental organization that was founded in December 2023. Our headquarters are in Bo Town, Sierra Leone, West Africa. We are committed to providing resources and raising awareness for the needs of our community. We thank God for enabling us to achieve our vision. As part of our Christmas celebration 2023, PMRC staff members donated SL. 11,0000 million Leone (about $600.00) worth of school supplies to primary and high schools. This is the first initiative of PMRC's mission to support public education institutions in West Africa.
